Human Rights Council of Pakistan will Host 3rd International Soch Aurat Awards on International Women’s Day

 

The Human Rights Council of Pakistan is set to celebrate International Women’s Day with the 3rd International Soch Aurat Awards at the Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel in Karachi. The event, scheduled for March 8, 2025, will honor 30 remarkable women from diverse fields, recognizing their outstanding contributions to society.

The Soch Aurat Awards have become a significant platform for acknowledging the achievements of women who have excelled in various domains, including education, healthcare, social work, business, media, technology, and public service. This initiative aligns with the Council’s mission to empower women, promote gender equality, and highlight the crucial role of women in nation-building.

Prominent personalities, human rights activists, and government officials are expected to attend the event, making it a momentous occasion in Pakistan’s ongoing struggle for women’s rights and empowerment.

This year’s distinguished nominees include:
