The latest ICC Test rankings have introduced significant changes, with Pakistan’s spin duo, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, making impressive gains following their outstanding performances against the West Indies.
Noman Ali’s remarkable 16-wicket haul in the two-match series propelled him to a career-best fifth position in the ICC Test bowler rankings, securing 806 rating points. Sajid Khan also advanced two places to 21st with 644 points, while Abrar Ahmed climbed to 50th place.
However, Pakistan’s fast bowlers faced setbacks. Shaheen Afridi slipped to 22nd, Mohammad Abbas dropped to 27th, and Naseem Shah fell four spots to 40th. Additionally, Aamer Jamal and Mir Hamza also experienced declines in their rankings.
On the global stage, India’s Jasprit Bumrah maintained his position at the top, with Australia’s Pat Cummins and South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada ranking second and third, respectively.
ICC Test Batter Rankings
In the Test batter rankings, Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel moved down to ninth place, while Mohammad Rizwan climbed to 15th. Captain Babar Azam struggled, slipping to 19th, and Agha Salman dropped five spots to 32nd. England’s Joe Root continues to lead the charts, with Harry Brook and Kane Williamson following in second and third positions.
T20I Rankings Updates
In the T20I rankings, Babar Azam remains in fifth place among batters, while Mohammad Rizwan moved up to eighth. Among bowlers, Shaheen Afridi dropped to 22nd, while Abbas Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr. made improvements in their rankings.
England’s Adil Rashid claimed the top spot in the T20I bowling rankings, surpassing Akeal Hosein. Meanwhile, India’s Varun Chakravarthy surged to fifth place after an impressive series against England.
