Massive Warehouse Fire in Karachi’s Nazimabad Brought Under Control After Eight Hours

A massive fire broke out in a warehouse located in Karachi’s Nazimabad area and was finally brought under control after eight hours of relentless firefighting.

Rescue officials reported that the fire originated in the basement storage facility of a food delivery company near Eidgah Ground. It spread swiftly, engulfing the entire structure and generating thick smoke, which complicated the firefighting efforts.

At least 10 fire trucks, along with several rescue teams, were deployed to tackle the blaze. Despite the challenge posed by the heavy smoke, the teams successfully extinguished the flames after hours of strenuous work.

Thankfully, no casualties were reported. However, the warehouse suffered extensive damage, with goods worth millions of rupees destroyed. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the extent of the losses and identify any safety violations.
