Minister Mohsin Naqvi Reviews Progress of Margalla Enclave, Directs Expedited Development

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently visited the site of Margalla Enclave, a joint venture between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA). During his inspection, he evaluated the ongoing development progress and instructed officials to speed up construction efforts.

Minister Naqvi announced that half of the development work is expected to be completed by August 14, while the entire project will be finalized by December 31, after which plot owners will receive possession.

He stressed the need to accelerate the pace of construction, urging that all available resources be utilized to ensure timely completion.

To enhance accessibility, Naqvi directed the development of a new road leading to Margalla Enclave. He emphasized that the travel time from the Prime Minister’s House to the enclave should be reduced to just five minutes with an alternative access route. He also ordered the immediate removal of encroachments along the route to ensure smooth entry.

Discussing the project’s strategic location, Naqvi highlighted the strong public interest it has generated. He stated that Margalla Enclave will not only offer a picturesque setting but also provide state-of-the-art amenities for residents.

As per a project briefing, the enclave will feature a lake, adding to its aesthetic appeal. Spanning 10,000 kanals, the development offers plots in sizes of 5 marla, 10 marla, and 1 kanal.

The deadline for submitting plot applications has been set for February 14. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and the DHA Project Director briefed the minister on sector planning and the future course of action for the project.
