The Vice President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shahid Nazir Chaudhry, officially inaugurated the Pakistan International Culinary Championship 2025 on Tuesday. This prestigious event featured participation from both Pakistani chefs and aspiring young chefs representing 12 different countries.
Among the notable attendees was Ahmad Shafiq, President of the Chef Association of Pakistan, alongside a significant presence from the business community. During his speech, Shahid Nazir Chaudhry commended the Chef Association of Pakistan for successfully organizing the seventh edition of this international championship. He emphasized the uniqueness of the event, not only in Pakistan but on a global scale, highlighting its growing international recognition.
This four-day competition serves as a valuable platform for local and international chefs to demonstrate their culinary expertise and gain insights from industry professionals. With nearly 5,000 young chefs taking part, those advancing to the final stages have the opportunity to win prizes totaling Rs5 million. The championship encompasses various categories, including professional cooking, food artistry, and modern culinary techniques.
Shahid Nazir Chaudhry underscored the significance of hosting such events, noting that the Pakistan International Culinary Championship 2025 provides a crucial avenue for skill enhancement, promotes gender inclusivity, and contributes to Pakistan’s global reputation.
