Saudi Arabia has reiterated its commitment to holding Hajj service providers accountable, emphasizing strict consequences for those who fail to maintain the highest standards for pilgrims.
Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, stressed that both local and international service providers found guilty of negligence or misconduct would face serious penalties.
During a meeting in Mecca with leaders of Hajj service companies, he reaffirmed the government’s dedication to ensuring a smooth and well-organized pilgrimage. He warned that any violations of regulations or failure to meet obligations could lead to substantial fines or even the permanent revocation of licenses. “There will be no tolerance for any shortcomings that compromise the well-being of pilgrims,” he declared.
At the meeting, Al Rabiah assessed the preparations for the upcoming Hajj season and commended the efforts of the Supreme Hajj Committee, chaired by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, for ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated pilgrimage. He also acknowledged the contributions of service providers striving to offer high-quality services to pilgrims.
