Andrew Robinson, a US citizen who traveled to Pakistan to marry her 19-year-old lover from Karachi, caused a dramatic scene on Shahrah-e-Faisal, leading to major traffic disruption. The incident unfolded when Robinson, who had already faced difficulties finding accommodation, created chaos inside a moving ambulance, ultimately jumping out onto the road and refusing to return to the police station.
Struggles with Accommodation and the Ambulance Incident
Robinson had initially been taken into police custody at Tipu Sultan police station after she was reportedly left stranded in Karachi. When authorities attempted to arrange her stay at various guest houses, all refused to accommodate her, citing security concerns. In a separate incident, Robinson returned to the guest house where she had previously stayed and accused the administration of stealing her diamond ring. She insisted that the valuable item had gone missing from her room and demanded it be returned immediately. However, the guest house staff denied any knowledge of the ring, stating that no such item had been found. The argument between Robinson and the management further escalated tensions.

Robinson, who hails from New York, USA, had reportedly arrived in Pakistan in October 2024 with the intention of marrying a 19-year-old Pakistani man from Karachi. Following the rejection, her fiancé allegedly abandoned her at the airport, leaving her in distress. Robinson claimed she was left stranded in Karachi for seven days, during which time she had no proper place to stay, and her visa expired, worsening her legal troubles.
